Navigating The AI Revolution: The Impact on Employment in India

Abstract
The emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an impressive transformational phenomenon that it is possible to compare only to the Industrial Revolution. The potential of its changing the human societies immensely is great because of its efficiency, accuracy, and productivity boosting in all fields. Artificial intelligence can process massive data, draw conclusions, and even make its own. The impact of this will be the speed at which the healthcare, finance,
education, and media industries will change the manner in which they are executed. Nonetheless, the effect of AI on the employment predicament is a complex matter with many sides, therefore, generating both positive and negative moods. AI also creates new job opportunities and brings forth economic growth and increases in decision-making. Indian labor market is indeed very heterogeneous, with several sectors, and it is also marked with vast differences in education and economic opportunities. In this case, the implementation of AI can be extremely helpful, as well as quite difficult. This paper has employed qualitative and descriptive research design. The thematic and comparative analysis has enabled the paper to assess the effects of AI on the workforce in the various sectors that encompass the healthcare field, education, banking, and media. It has also considered the situation in India in a global perspective. By collating the current literature on the subject and expertise in the field, the paper gives a comprehensive perspective of how the AI is altering the nature of employment. It also identifies the beneficial effects that AI may cause together with the
dangers that it brings along.
