Moot Court

Gitarattan (Centre for Legal Studies) has a Moot Court fully equipped to provide an opportunity to the students to develop their research, legal writing and oral advocacy skills in a mock courtroom setting. The Institute also organizes moot court competitions which are usually based on hypothetical cases involving emerging or unsettled areas of law. The primary object of conducting this Moot Court exercises is to provide a valuable opportunity to the law students to master both their written and oral advocacy skills. Moot court presentation inculcates professional legal etiquettes in the students which later equip them to adapt with real court room environment.
