Dr. Deepak Tandon has 36 years of work experience. He has a Ph.D. Management – Finance & M.B.A. – Finance (FMS, Delhi University); L.L.B. (Delhi University); M.Sc. (Delhi University), C.A.I.I.B. (Indian Institute of Banking and Finance, Mumbai). He is serving as a Professor of Finance and accounting at IMI since 2007 and has held various positions as Chairperson Banking & Finance, Area Chair Finance and is currently heading the Finance Club. Prior to joining IMI, he was the Professor in Finance at Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management, Dwarka, New Delhi for 4 years, where he was also the coordinator for PGDM – Executive programme and conducted various MDP’s and FDPs. He has a blend of 39 years of Experience (15Yrs Academic and 24Yrs Banking areas). He has been a visiting Faculty at SRCC Delhi Univ, SP Jain Mumbai , IMT Ghaziabad, ICAI , ICWAI , Bridge school Gurgaon , and other allied Premier B Schools . Also has taught at University of Luton/ Bedfodshire UK, Sasin University Bangkok. He has worked for various Banks viz. PNB, PNB Capital Services, Vysya, J&K, Indus Ind and Oriental Bank Of Commerce at the level of Vice President / Senior Faculty – Forex and Risk Management {Scale I to Scale V}. He is an approved ISO Lead Auditor from Nigel Bauer & Associates (Germany), IRCA Certified (London) Auditor. He has authored Over 130 peer reviewed research papers and over 25 are Scopus Publications. Dr Tandon has been awarded   10   Medals in academics and various accolades TN has been a leading Keynote Speaker at various International Forums, conferences and events at New York (USA), Delhi University affiliated Colleges, JNU, IP University. Received the best Academician Award of year 2018 from Integrated Chambers of Commerce and industry on 11^th august 2018 Received the best Professor in finance & Accounting Award from Academy of Management professionals and IDMBA ( Institute for digital Marketing & Business Analytics)   – Academic Excellence award 2019. In February 2020 he received the Amity Excellence Award for the Best Professor in the area of Banking and Finance from Amity University, Noida. He has been awarded 10 Awards in Academics and Research by accredited bodies and is on the editorial Board of Various International Journals.
