Once more it was a moment of pride for our institute when new students of MBA and MCA joined the giBS family. “The Prelude” an orientation program was held on August 18, 2009. Prelude means a preface, a prologue or an introduction of the forthcoming events through which students get a feel of the completely new and dynamic world of professional studies.

The orientation program was started by seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha the God of education, knowledge, wisdom and wealth. A very devotional and attractive Ganesh Vandana was performed by students of giBS. It was followed by lightning of lamp by our chief guest Mr. Arun Sehgal HR Director, Glaxo SmithKaline Consumer Health Care. Mr. Sehgal gave a stimulating lecture which really boosted the morale of our budding managers and technocrats.

“The Prelude” provided an opportunity to our new entrants to understand the culture and climate of professional education. During the program number of topics was discussed with the students, viz. Vision and Mission of giBS, salient features of MBA and MCA program, institute norms and general administration. Placement information was also shared with the new entrants.
