Meticulous planning with detailed coordination is essential for success of any plan. But rarely do plans get executed as envisaged on the Drawing Board. There will be obstacles, hick ups and even failures. These are the challenges which Leaders & Managers have to face to ensure successful execution of the plans to achieve the organizational goals. While class room Lectures & Presentations acquaint us with theoretical concepts & principles but what is vital is the implementation of these concepts & principles in real life situations. Unfortunately, 90% of students passing out from professional colleges lack the ability to apply the theoretical knowledge to deal with challenges in their work arena. Hence, they are categorized as non-employable. This has become a major weakness for thousands of students passing out from various institutes year after year. It is with this in view that Gitarattan International Business School has embarked on the initiative to conduct National Case Study Analysis and Presentation Competition every year.

The event was inaugurated by Mr. Krishan Kalra, Secretary General, Ph.D Chamber of Commerce. Prof. K.C.Sethi, Former Prof. IIM-C, Former Director IMT – Gaziabad delivered the keynote address. 10 best teams out of 35 teams were registered for the 4th National Case Study Competition; they analyzed and presented the case study to a panel of eminent professionals from the corporate and academic world on 07th November 2009. Mr. Bahrat Bhushan IAS, Joint Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India was the chief guest for the valedictory session and prize distribution.
